What does Australia have in common with country music? They both are homes to Keith Urban. Keith Urban is such a talented guy who brings a rock star look and guitar playing to country music. Make no mistake Keith Urban is country and will not be a rock star. He is country to his core.
With four singles, three of which hit Top 5, Keith Urban has a successful debut CD. The only single not to hit Top 5 was the first single, "It's a Love Thing." I was hoping that my favorite track and the one written to his fiancée, Laura (sorry ladies), called "You're The Only One" would be released. The other tracks that stand out are the instrumental "Clutterbilly," and "I Thought You Knew."
If you like Keith Urban's singles, you will really like this CD. I would also recommend that if you want to hear his older work, check out his first USA project, THE RANCH. It is a great country rock record.
