This album is a complete collection of all of Ronnie's #1 hits. While not the only person in the country music field to achieve the status of 40 #1 hits, he is the FIRST person to do it as a solo artist. It will bring back many memories as old favorites come out of the speakers. It takes two CD's to contain this awesome sound, and is over three hours of pleasant listening.
There are 43 tracks between the two CD's. This is because he threw in a very popular song that never made #1 status, "Stranger In My House." He also cut two brand new tracks, "Livin' On Love," and "Time, Love and Money." The new music shows us that Ronnie is absolutely still a contender in the music industry. It contains my childhood favorite that hooked me on Ronnie's music, "Pure Love." That was his first number one, and who couldn't love a guy that sang about their favorite cereal??
This album is perfect for both new and old fans. For the new fans, it has all the greats in one spot. Many of these songs are on albums that are out of print and no longer available. For the long time fan - it is good for the same reason. All the favorites are in one spot. I strongly recommend this album for an addition to any CD collection.
