David Ball - Thinkin' Problem
There is no question about who the singer is when David Ball is behind the microphone. His distinctive voice is unmistakable and makes for a great overall sound to each of his albums. Even if he sang a rock and roll song, there would be no doubt he was born to be a country artist.
"Thinkin' Problem," the title cut from the album, went all the way to the number two spot on the Billboard Charts as it made its way through the pop charts. Aiding the album in selling over one million copies were the second and third singles: "Look What Followed Me Home" and "When The Thought Of You Catches Up To Me."
This is the album that launched the career of David Ball, and turned him into an overnight superstar of the early nineties. If anyone was deserving, it was him because he has kept the rock and pop out of country, much like he still does today.
