Toby Keith - How Do You Like Me Now
Toby released four singles from this album, the first being "When Love Fades," which didn't chart very well. But with the release of the title track, Toby was on his way! "Country Comes To Town," was the third release, and the fourth was "You Shouldn't Kiss Me Like This." Both the title track and "You Shouldn't Kiss Me Like This" made it to the top of the Billboard Hot Country Singles chart, and "Country Comes To Town" peaked at No. 4.
This album is packed with both upbeat songs, like "Country Comes To Town," and the title cut, as well as some wonderful ballads like "You Shouldn't Kiss Me Like This," "Do I Know You (Bottom of My Heart)" and "When Love Fades," as well as some great mid-tempo tunes, like "Blue Bedroom," and "Die With Your Boots On."
This is the album that really got Toby the recognition he deserved. It was nominated and won the ACM Album of the Year award, and the title track was nominated for both ACM Single and Song of the Year in 2001. Toby himself won the ACM Male Vocalist for the same year, and later picked up the CMA Male Vocalist as well.
