I'm sure the members of Sugarland were wondering if they would always be a bridesmaid and never a bride. The illustrious No. 1 was within their grasp twice before this year, but both times their songs peaked at No. 2, and dropped. With the first single, "Want To," from their sophomore album, Enjoy the Ride, the now duo (after bandmember Kristian Hall decided to leave the band to pursue songwriting full time) finally struck pay dirt, and rode to the top for the final two weeks of 2006. Not only that, but the album also sold over 1,000,000 copies, giving the band their second Platinum disc.
